Mohammed Ben Sulayem is an Emirati former rally driver and the current President of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).
Early Life & Career: Ben Sulayem enjoyed a successful career as a rally driver, winning the Middle East Rally Championship a record 14 times between 1986 and 2002.
FIA Involvement: Before becoming president, he held numerous positions within the FIA, including serving as Vice President for Sport and President of the Automobile & Touring Club of the UAE (ATCUAE).
FIA Presidency: He was elected President of the FIA in December 2021, succeeding Jean Todt. His platform focused on reform, transparency, and sustainability within motorsport. He also pledged to double motorsport participation globally.
